Here is another way to say "I love you"
Here is how boys say "I missed you tons!" *****Please note how shiny the top of the head is...hehehehehe*******
On Saturday we had an Easter Eggstravaganza at church. Luke is showing Jeff the egg he found under the slide.
Charlie at the Easter celebration. We had all prayed for beautiful weather and we were granted a gorgeous spring day! It was very warm. I think we had around 150 kids overall from the community! Jeff and I came home at 2pm wanting a nap, but the kids wanted to play outside with Jeff. I helped him get an hour nap before they couldn't wait anymore. I think he is almost caught up with his sleep. We are so happy to see him!!!

Good to see all the boys being boys!!
I know Heather never had a brother so this has been a bit weird for her. This looked like "fighting" to her..when it really only "play fighting". It's just what boys do.
Good to know Jeff is home... even if only for a while.
It's great to get a chance to see Jeff with his boys. I've never really had an opportunity to see Jeff, the dad. I just remember Jeff, the note-passing-in-church, train-hopping goob! I know those have to be two of the happiest boys on the planet right now...three if you count the big boy! Enjoy your family time together. You're very blessed!
The love of a father and sons. I'm like Amy never have got to see this side of Jeff. Actually haven't seen him in years. But he looks real happy! I hope you all enjoy your time together!
Shane says that Jeff is trying to be like him, his idle, his military iconic hero. Let's face it he wants to be an NCO, and lead from the front, not the office. (as he states he loves himself.) He is talking about his haircut. It is funny to see that on my brother. You know though, I don't know what other kind of haircut my husband would look good in. That looks kinda like a Ranger cut to me. hehe
Sorry, Shane needed to put his 2 cents in!! The boys look like they are having a blast having daddy home. It is funny how you have to show them everything in the first 2 seconds that they are home. And it never changes. We have to do everything right now. Homecomings are always so nerve racking, fun, exciting, emotional, fun, and wonderful. It makes you not take things for granted and stop and look at them a little closer, longer and hug them a little tighter.
Great pictures!!
Heather these are such great pics of guys. I love to see parents playing and horsing around with the kiddos. So are things getting broken in your house when they wrestle with each other? If not, give it time, it'll happen! LOL Jeff, glad you're enjoying your family, I know you missed them all terribly!
